What this is
A public timeline, tied to your Vampelium account. Run by Vampelium and not affiliated with any other social network.
Signing in
VampSocial has no password of its own. Sign in with Vampelium
sends you to vampelium.com and brings you back. Check the
address bar reads vampelium.com before typing a password — here
or anywhere else. Vampelium will never ask for it by email or by message.
What you may not post
- Sexual content involving children, in any form. Reported to the authorities, not merely removed.
- Threats, incitement to violence, or targeted harassment.
- Someone's private information — address, phone number, documents — without their consent.
- Impersonating a person or organisation in a way meant to deceive.
- Malware, phishing, or links intended to deliver either.
- Automated bulk posting.
Accounts doing these are suspended. There is no strike counter to game.
What you keep
Your posts are yours. Posting here grants Vampelium only what is needed to run the service: storing your posts and images, and showing them to the people the software shows them to. Not a licence to sell them, sublicense them, or train models on them.
What is not promised
This is a young service. It may be unavailable and it may lose things. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — good advice for every social network, including the large ones. Settings → Your data hands you that copy, whenever you want it and without asking anybody.
Ending it
Stop whenever you like. Settings → Delete this account deletes it, without going through us: it becomes invisible immediately and the stored images are removed shortly afterwards. You can stop it up until the removal begins. We may close an account that breaks the rules above, or discontinue the service with as much notice as circumstances allow.
